IT Support Centurion - Managed IT for Centurion Businesses
Our office is on Jean Avenue. For Centurion businesses that means an engineer on your premises within the hour, not a call-back.
Built for how Centurion does business
Centurion is where Code Masters lives - 257 Jean Avenue, Central Office Park - and it has been our home turf since 2004. Jean Avenue, Lenchen Avenue and the Centurion CBD around the Mall carry the professional firms, medical practices and franchise offices; Highveld Techno Park and Route 21 hold the engineering consultancies, software houses and logistics operators that need their networks to stay up; Irene, Lyttelton, Eldoraigne, Rooihuiskraal and Wierdapark add hundreds of small businesses working from estates and home offices along the Gautrain line.
Being local changes what support looks like. There is no travel window to negotiate: a failed switch in Highveld Techno Park is a fifteen-minute drive, a server that will not boot in Irene is ten. Our engineers know which office parks lose power on which Tshwane block, which fibre providers actually reach which streets, and which building managers to phone when the shared router in the basement goes down.
Centurion businesses also tend to be growing ones - the two-person consultancy that becomes twelve, the practice that opens a second room. Our packages are priced per user so the fee tracks the headcount, and the weekly on-site visit means the growth gets planned instead of patched.
Senior engineer, Centurion
Centurion is where our office is, so the engineer assigned to you is the one who can be at your desk in fifteen minutes. One senior engineer per managed client, the same face every week, with the rest of the team ten minutes away when a job needs two pairs of hands.
What Centurion businesses ask us to fix
The six things behind most of the tickets we get from this side of town.
Techno Park and Route 21 uptime
Engineering, software and logistics firms in Highveld Techno Park and Route 21 cannot lose their line or their server for an afternoon. We put redundant fibre or LTE failover in, monitor every server 24/7 and hold spare hardware in our Jean Avenue office so a dead switch is replaced the same morning.
The Gautrain-corridor home office
A large share of Centurion businesses run from Irene, Eldoraigne and Rooihuiskraal estates. We secure the business network separately from the household, set up remote access that works from estate fibre, and treat a home office exactly like an office on the support contract.
Load-shedding on Tshwane blocks
Centurion sits across several Tshwane blocks; Highveld and Lyttelton do not switch off together. We map your block, size the UPS for the router and server and set the failover so calls and card machines survive the slot.
Medical and legal practices around the CBD
POPIA applies to every patient and client file. We handle the technical controls: encrypted devices, access rights, a tested backup, a written incident plan, and a signed operator agreement on the Fully Managed package.
Microsoft 365 that is actually backed up
Microsoft keeps your email running; it does not keep a copy for you. Every Fully Managed client gets a nightly backup of mailboxes, OneDrive and SharePoint that we test on a schedule.
Franchise and multi-site offices
Centurion hosts many regional franchise offices with branches elsewhere in Gauteng. We standardise the setup so every branch is the same image, the same security and the same helpdesk number, and we fix the branch remotely before anyone drives.

Centurion questions
What businesses on this side of Pretoria ask before they sign.
How fast can you be on site in Centurion?
Our office is on Jean Avenue, so most Centurion addresses are five to fifteen minutes away. Critical faults are answered within two hours in writing and usually resolved remotely inside the hour; when hands are needed an engineer is with you the same hour during business hours.
Do you charge a callout inside Centurion?
Yes - R650 per on-site visit, the same as everywhere we work, so the monthly fee never hides travel. Remote support has no callout, and most faults are fixed remotely.
Can we drop a laptop at your office?
Yes. 257 Jean Avenue, Building 5, Central Office Park, weekdays 08:00-17:00. Repairs, data recovery and new machine setups are done in our workshop; we phone you when it is ready or deliver it back on the next visit.
We are in Highveld Techno Park. Which fibre providers can you work with?
Openserve, Vumatel and Frogfoot cover most of Centurion; several parks have their own building provider. We liaise with whichever is in your street and can add an LTE failover so a fibre fault does not stop the business.
What does managed IT cost for a Centurion office of 8 people?
Core Business IT is R750 per user per month, Fully Managed R950 and Enterprise R1,299, with a R3,500 monthly minimum. Eight users on Fully Managed is R7,600 a month including the weekly on-site visit, tested backups and Microsoft 365 administration. Pay-as-you-go is R750 an hour if you would rather test us first.
Do you support businesses run from estates like Irene and Eldoraigne?
A large share of our Centurion clients do exactly that. We secure the business network separately from the household, set up remote access that works from the estate fibre, and treat the home office like any other office on the contract.
Can you take over from our current IT company?
Yes. A 15-minute meeting, an IT audit, a written 10-point plan with an estimate against every point, then a planned handover of passwords, licences and vendor relationships - usually within a week.
Are you POPIA compliant?
We follow POPIA on our side and implement the technical controls on yours: encrypted laptops, role-based access, tested backups and an incident plan. Fully Managed clients get a signed operator agreement.

Your first month with us in Centurion
What happens between signing and the first monthly report. No surprises, nothing done without a quote.
- Day 1
1. Site survey and inventory
An engineer walks the premises, photographs the comms cupboard, records every computer, printer, switch and licence, and notes the fibre provider, the UPS run-time and who has admin rights. You get the inventory as a spreadsheet the same week.
- Week 1
2. Monitoring and protection on every device
Our agent goes onto every computer and server: patching, antivirus, disk health and backup status report back to the helpdesk. Anything already failing shows up now, before it becomes a call.
- Week 1
3. Backups tested, not assumed
Whatever backup exists is restored to a test folder to prove it works. If nothing exists, a nightly cloud backup of servers and Microsoft 365 mailboxes goes in, with a restore drill in the diary.
- Week 2
4. The written 10-point plan
Ten things we would fix, in priority order, each with an estimate. Some are free (password policy, removing admin rights), some need budget (a UPS that lasts the full two hours). You decide the order; nothing is done without a signed quote.
- Week 3
5. First scheduled visit
The assigned engineer's weekly on-site slot starts. Users know the face and the day; small annoyances get fixed while they are small instead of becoming tickets.
- Week 4
6. Review with the owner
Thirty minutes: what was found, what was fixed, what the monitoring shows, what is next. Then monthly, in writing, for as long as you are a client.
