The computer problems we fix every day

Ninety percent of computer support is the same twenty problems. We have seen every one of them in Pretoria offices for twenty years, and most are fixed remotely while you watch.

  • A PC or laptop that is slow, freezes or will not start
  • Outlook that will not send, receive or open; mailboxes that are full
  • Printers and scanners that have stopped talking to the computers
  • Wi-Fi and internet that drop or crawl - and the fibre provider who blames you
  • Viruses, ransomware, pop-ups and the browser that redirects itself
  • Files that were deleted, overwritten or are on a drive that clicks
  • Windows and Microsoft 365 updates that broke something
  • New laptops that need setting up exactly like the old one
  • Passwords, accounts and a colleague who left with the admin login
  • A server or shared drive nobody can reach

Remote first, on site when it matters

Phone or WhatsApp 060 131 5099. A technician takes secure remote control of the machine - you see everything they do - and most faults are resolved inside the hour. Remote support has no callout charge.

When it is hardware, a network or a printer, an engineer drives from our Centurion office: Centurion and Pretoria are 5 to 30 minutes away, and we keep spare parts, drives and configured loan laptops in the workshop so you are not without a machine.

Laptops and desktops can also be dropped at 257 Jean Avenue, Building 5, Central Office Park, weekdays 08:00-17:00.

Pay by the hour, or stop paying by the hour

Pay-as-you-go computer support is R750 an hour, remote or on-site, plus a R650 callout for every site visit. No contract, no minimum; call when something breaks.

Businesses with more than a handful of computers usually move to a monthly package within a few months, because it is cheaper than the callouts and the faults stop recurring: Core Business IT at R750 per user per month gives you an unlimited helpdesk, antivirus and all updates managed, 24/7 monitoring and Microsoft 365 administration. Sign a package within 30 days of your first hourly job and half of what you spent is credited.

Business only - and honest about it

We support businesses, practices, schools and home offices that run a business. If you are a private individual with one home PC, a repair shop in your suburb will be cheaper than our callout, and we will tell you so.

Questions we get asked

How much does computer support cost in Pretoria?

Pay-as-you-go is R750 an hour, remote or on-site, plus a R650 callout for a site visit. Most remote fixes take under an hour. A monthly package starts at R750 per user per month with a R3,500 minimum and includes unlimited helpdesk support.

Can you fix my computer remotely?

Usually, yes. Software, email, updates, viruses, slow machines and most network problems are fixed remotely while you watch, with no callout charge. Hardware faults need a visit or a drop-off at our Centurion workshop.

How quickly can someone come to our office in Pretoria?

Critical faults are answered within two hours, in writing. When hands are needed an engineer drives from Centurion the same morning - 5 to 30 minutes to most Pretoria and Centurion addresses.

My laptop will not switch on. Is the data gone?

Almost never. Stop trying to boot it - repeated attempts can damage a failing drive - and bring it to us or call. We recover the data first, then repair or replace the machine.

Do you support Apple Macs?

Yes, for business clients - Macs on Microsoft 365, printers, Wi-Fi and backups. Hardware repairs on Macs go to an authorised repairer and we manage that for you.

Do you do home computers?

Only home offices that run a business. For a private home PC a suburb repair shop will be cheaper than our R650 callout, and we will say so when you call.

Can you set up a new laptop like my old one?

Yes - we move the files, email, printers and settings across, put the antivirus and updates on, and take the old machine's drive for secure wiping or recovery.

What if the same fault keeps coming back?

That is the most common complaint about computer support, and the reason our packages include a weekly on-site visit: the engineer fixes the cause, not the symptom, and it stops coming back.

Or WhatsApp a photo of the error and we will tell you what it is.
